Another overwhelmingly White crowd of angry men held a pissy-fest outside the New York courtroom where Donald Trump is being tried for covering up financial crimes to pay off an adult actress. Usually, it’s just the mango man standing in the hallway whining to cameras about injustice and his treatment under the law. His confusion is understandable since he’s really not bright enough to understand how the judicial system works and why what he did to pay off Stormy, and hide it, violated statutes in the state of New York. He’s been buying people off for decades and no one ever called him on it so some of his shock is explainable.
What’s been almost unimaginably pathetic, though, are the elected officeholders and public fellators of Trump, reassuring the baby-man that he is being done a great injustice by being held accountable for violating laws. My god, he’s the president; how can he be put on trial? Because he is demonstrably foolish, a liar, a cheat, thief, person who refuses to pay vendors, and because he appears to have broken the law. Among the genuflectors on the last day of testimony before closing arguments next Tuesday, we found the Texas Lt. Governor, Dan Patrick, (nee Goeb), expressing his outrage that America has a functioning judicial system.
“The way he has been treated,” Danny said, “You would see in Russia. You would see in China. You would see in North Korea, and in every little tin pot dictatorship across the world. That’s what we have here in New York and in America. If they can go after the former president of the United States of America, who has the ability and the resources to fight back, what happens to the average American? What happens to any of you? If the courts come after any of you because for something you said, something the ruling class didn’t like?” (6:15 in the video below).
By the way he runs the Texas Senate, Danny has already proved he skipped civics class in high school. Drop a few million into his campaign accounts, and you can get your friend the attorney general acquitted of corruption. That’s how it works in those “little tin pot dictatorships” he mentioned in his silly and sanctimonious tirade before the cameras. None of those countries he named have legal processes properly founded on the concept of innocent until proven guilty, and, further, he isn’t being prosecuted for something he said, and you, Danny boy, and all the other bootlickers in your gaggle of gag me, know that’s not why he is on trial.
Danny was concentrating so hard on how he looked and sounded his message got a bit confusing. He started to explain about those “other countries” and said, “They shut down the ruling class,” which wasn’t exactly a populist note to be sounding. When he realized his bumble, he explained what the judge and the court, and the current president, were doing with this trial. “They want to be sure anyone that speaks up against the ruling class disappears. They want Donald trump to disappear. They want to send him to jail. They want to take him off the main stage because they know he is their biggest danger to taking the ruling class down.”
In case you aren’t following his tortured logic, Trump apparently isn’t in the ruling class of America and is a threat to its members because self-proclaimed billionaires who are former presidents and have commercial-sized jets with their name on the side and buildings around the world and gold shitters in their house, those folks just aren’t ruling class. A reporter interjected and interrupted Patrick’s gobbledeygook and asked, “Isn’t Trump in the ruling class? The man who would be a Texan was stunned at the accusation.
“No, Donald trump is not the ruling class,” Patrick moaned. “Donald Trump is for every New Yorker, every Texan, every state. Donald trump has put his whole life on the line for the American people.”
If you are blowing coffee out your nose while reading Patrick’s defense of an indefensible human, I understand. The notion that a reporter would interrupt their preening and wanting to be on TV with a reasonable question left the gathering of sad souls completely horrified. This wasn’t to be a news conference. Reporters and their cameras were there simply to let these agitated White men tell America about the injustices being done to the Trumpy. In fact, Seb Gorka, who is some kind of podcaster or analyst or right wing bullshit salesman, well, ol’ Sebby seemed to have had his gob smacked by a reporter daring to ask any kind of a question, especially one about Trump being in the “ruling class.” Gorka, who always looks like he hasn’t had a bowel movement in a decade, jumped quickly to the microphone.
“He’s facing 730 years in prison on these charges, and he’s in the ruling class?” Seb asked. “What a pathetic question. You’re not journalist.”
Yeah, real journalists are over at FOX News, explaining why this trial is a sham, damnit! I’m not sure why there is any coverage of these post trial spewings by Trump or his sycophants. No one ever gets to ask a real question or follow up. The entirety of the time there is nothing but an uninterrupted stream of low-intellect babble going straight into the TV sets, computers, and phones of innocent Americans. What did we do to deserve this shit? Take away the cameras. Let Trump and his lovers talk to each other or the wall or an empty hallway. These little get togethers are a waste of electricity and they are poisoning the minds of citizens.
Maybe they were all on the defensive because TFG got caught with his Hitler hopes on display over at his money-burning social media site. He posted a 30-second ad that had a visual from an historic newspaper publication in Germany that talked about a “Unified Reich.” The narrator kept asking, “What’s next for America?” which is almost exactly the language used by Hitler as he began to take control of Germany. When the backlash turned into a roar, his campaign took down the ad and blamed a staffer who supposedly did not see the language. Sure, poor kid, didn’t he know he was supposed to edit the text of a former president’s campaign commercial? Everyone knows who is responsible for the spot, though, and its message, which is, without ambiguity, “Get ready, America. Elect me and I’ll burn this place down with a new set of rules that are good for me and my money buddies, but nobody else. And all you vermin, you better get out before we find you.”
Dan Patrick was right about one thing, though. The majority of Americans, ruling class or not, do want Trump to disappear. Forever, and that’s a long, long time.
Don't you just wish some Zeus-like entity would swoosh down and slap the living shit out of all those bigots?
What does Danny hope to get out of this? He's damn sure not VP material. Just enjoys the cosplay I guess. Closing arguments next week, wonder how long before we get a verdict? Of course tRump will appeal, so on it will go. On and on until we get tired of hearing about the bloody bastard. That's his plan isn't it? He wants to hammer us into monotony. Untill we're asleep at the switch just like he was at this trial. I'll be fully awake on election day tho, and 'ol sleeping fartus can count on that!
