Thank you for your coverage of this disgusting and morally depraved action by SCOTEX.

They are not concerned about healthcare, only power.

It can't be easy to write about these issues all the time.. but it has to be done. Glad you're able to do so Jim.

The only kind of woman worth saving is the one who’ll die to give birth. Paradox.

The world is overcrowded with 8 billion people and we have loons like Musk running around saying we need more people on the planet and governors like Abbott who would have a disabled child born to suffer through life just to protect his conservatism and religion.

Good piece, as always, Jim.

I wonder, though, whether it's truly a case of "small government" Republicans in Texas - or anywhere else - being "unable to see their own contradictions" when it comes to their overly invasive, harmful policies. After egregious overreach upon grievous overreach, I'm more inclined to think that they know what flaming hypocrites they are... and simply DGAF as long as their regressive policies are enacted.

I think yours may be the more precise analysis, though it might be giving them to too much intellectual credit. But it's hard to believe any of them could be as oblivious as they appear. DGAF is probably the operative philosophy. Who's gonna stop us?
