It was night in the middle of he day that surprised me, and the bugs, critters, and birds, too. It was just so very strange and remarkable, like the words themselves, close yet separate. Then the night went away and day returned. The world had started again.
i am in austin, on the eastside…i got my glasses for viewing…i will walk out my door into the backyard. that will do just fine. a sweet thing for this lifetime.
Loved this essay a lot! I remember 2017 and viewing it from here outside of Houston. This time we'll traipse over to central Texas to see it in full. Hotel reservation was booked a year ago. I really appreciated the sentences about the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon.

Thanks Jim Bob.
What wonderful sentiment. A love song if I've ever heard one.
I will have that opportunity here in Ohio.
