I’ll check him out, Steve. Allow me to recommend “Itchy Boots,” 30 year old Dutch woman traveling the planet on a Royal Enfield. 60,000 miles and two years. Approaching 200 YouTube episodes. She’s great, traveling fearlessly alone.
For years, I labored quietly in the fields of embellishment and embroidery, my penchant for exaggeration safely concealed behind an earnest demeanor and an instinct for the outer limits of how much B.S. I could dispense.
Now I find myself identified as a "Known Exaggerator" by your pulp newsletter, shown in your company and that of the infamous Danny Self. And at the Broken Wheel Bar, no less, whose very existence has been denied at the highest levels of the Texas Department of Public Safety.
My solicitors urge me not to retaliate with comparable calumny in the pages of my "Life Its Ownself" Substack, lest I endanger its reputation for superb storytelling and trenchant political and cultural analysis. But you shall be hearing from them in due time, Mr. Jim Bob. In due time.
The problem with telling everyone about this area is that they may show up. I’d rather keep it a secret. Unless of course their visit is cathartic and inspires them to change the world for the better (as I see it). Then that’s ok.
Hey Jim, I would like to recommend a great motorcycle guy who has a YouTube channel. It's FTA Adventures. He spends his life traveling on a motorcycle and has superb information.
Great post by the way. Looking to exploring that area myself.
Consider yourself exposed and respond accordingly. As for me, I believe I’ll ladle on a bit more embellishment.
