Incredible framing of the epistemological crisis here. The leap from skeptic to believer isn't the interesting part anymore; it's how institutions will rationlize their own denial once the evidence becomes undeniable. I keep thinking about how fast the petro-dollar would collpase and dunno if we're remotely ready for that shock even if the tech seems like a win.

I, for one, am eager to greet our new alien overlords.

Especially if they come bearing the message of peace, "We are not like Trump!"

I believe that after landing and stepping from their seamless orb, the first words they'll speak will be,"we didn't vote for him either."

Dr Mack was taken too early. The streets of London claimed the life of a brilliant mind.

Agree, Michael. I spent a lot of time with him while working on my documentary. He was very courageous and unappreciated. Both of his books on abductions are brilliant. I was stunned by the accident that killed him. I was told it had something to do with him looking the wrong way before crossing the London street.

Both the American Automobile Manufacturers and the American Petroleum Institute have issued a combined denunciation, to wit: "The sphere's lack of both a fuel gauge and tank, not to mention, a neutral color palette, e.g., white, black and gray, that offer good resale value and lower upkeep, indicate a substandard if not completely inferior race of beings."

I'm among their number. I met Greer back in the early 90s when he had just left a successful career as an emergency room physician to chase UFOs. He's an intelligent man, obviously, but seemingly tries to hard to prove what science has not yet proved. If there were resin in the small holes on that orb, which is where the sample came from, there's no way to know if it were acquired last week or from the date of the object's origin. I do not think, however, this particular artifact can be so easily dismissed as bunk. The US military has video of a similar orb flying over a city in Iraq where American troops were stationed.

I doubt that Planet X has anything we would recognize as "resin." And the patterns on the orb seem to follow a human aesthetic.

It goes into the "I don't know and I don't know how to find out" corner of my brain.
